Reformer Pilates

What is Reformer Pilates?

Invented by Pilates founder, Joseph Pilates, the Pilates Reformer is a piece of equipment that provides resistance with a series of springs and straps. It will improve strength, coordination, flexibility, balance, and stability. While Pilates training focuses on core strength, it trains the body as an integrated whole. Exercising with the reformer is possible for anyone, at any fitness level.

In addition to the Reformer piece of equipment, we also utilize the Pilates chair and tower.

"Lennie is an incredibly positive, thoughtful, and kind instructor who helped me tremendously over the last year.  I found Lennie while looking for a training method to help me get back to an active lifestyle after multiple disc herniations and realizing I have an arthritic lower back.  Lennie was incredibly thoughtful in her programming - she didn't take a one-size-fits-all approach and focused on the basics at first which helped me build strength and confidence. She was also very patient with me while I struggled with some of the most basic movements.  Lennie's thoughtfulness, patience, and positivity were the keys to my successful training and getting back to doing the things that I love.  Thanks, Lennie!!"  Nate Wilda

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

— Cary Hall

"Lennie is an amazing instructor. I have competed and placed in obstacle course events. The one thing I neglected in my training is core and flexibility work. She is tough and pleasant at the same time and provides truly serious workouts while pushing her students. She has improved my core strength, balance, and flexibility. I would recommend her to anyone.
